Mary Mildred Boshers Burgett, a native of Mt. Pleasant, TN and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the age of 95. She was a former member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church and the Eastern Star; and retired from Brookley Field after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Boshers and Mary Myrtle Finerty Boshers; her husband, Franklin Burgett; her son, Forrest Ray Burgett; her sister, Melba Boshers; three brothers, Edward Boshers, Joe Boshers and Carl Boshers. Her survivors include two sons, Raymond P. Burgett and David W. (Vermelle) Burgett; three sisters, Gracie (Euelle) Stutts, Betty Bryant, and Dorothy Harrison; two brothers, Horace Boshers and Sammy (Shirley) Boshers; five grandchildren, Mary (Steven) Ashley, Melissa (Roger) Wilkins, Michelle Latimer, Layne (Elliot) Vasquez and Lawrence (Justini) Burgett; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Redmon, Gary Altmyer, Jason Kudulis, Steven Ashley, Roger Wilkins and Lawrence Burgett. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
