Mary Cross

Mary Lillian Cross 1928 - 2017 A native of Birmingham, AL and resident of Theodore, AL died on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the age of 89. Mrs. Cross during her working career worked at Brookley AFB, Barton Academy, SS Steele, License Commissioners Office and was a part time substitute School Teacher. She was also hired by an individual for typing the manuscript that would become her autobiography. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Matthew Cross and a son, Gary Steven Cross. She is survived by three children, Duane Cross, Stan Cross and Kim (Terry) Hickman; sister, Mylan Ryan; brother, Gillis Morgan; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon.
