Mary Jaschek

Mary Alice Gruenthal Jaschek passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 16, 2023, in Mobile, Alabama. She was 88 years old.

Mary was married to Erich, the love of her life for 71 years. She was a loving and hard-working homemaker seeing to her family's needs. She enjoyed singing in her church choir, often as a soloist. She and Erich also enjoyed many close friendships that lasted for decades, enjoying dinners, camping, family parties and sharing life's events.

Mary is survived by her husband, Erich Jaschek, Jr.; son, Michael (Rebecca); daughter, Christina DeLarber (Dale); grandchildren, Matthew James (Virginia), Melanie Eskew (Mark), Erich Jaschek (Kaitlin) and Ian Jaschek (Hana); great grandchildren, Samantha James, Lucus James, Ethan Northway, Gage Gregersen, Kai Jaschek, Evan Jaschek, Tate Jaschek and Kaylei Jaschek, and her life-long friends Elsie Hartmann, JoAnne Dillow and Annette Lynch.
