Mary Minhinnette

Mary Llanelle Stewart Minhinnette, age 74, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017. Llanelle was a Murphy High School graduate and attended Huntingdon College. Her selfless commitment to her family and others will forever be an inspiration to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Christian and Gladys Mckemie Stewart. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Clayton Paul Minhinnette; their children, Stephen Paul (Abby) Minhinnette, Julie Minhinnette
(Bobby Lee) Pitts, James Stewart Minhinnette; grandchildren, Lauren Minhinnette (Matt) Bryant, Stephen Hunter Minhinnette, Lauren Leigh Cherry, Mary Grace Pitts, Anna Katherine Pitts; great-grandchildren, Alleigh Elizabeth Cooper, Ana Reece Bryant, and Tucker Wade Bryant; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 6 at 11:00 AM from Christ United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jeremy Steele officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
