Mary Peterson

Mary Louise Bero Peterson, 73, passed from this life Wednesday morning, August 24, 2016, at Providence Hospital, following a lengthy battle with poor health. A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Mrs. Peterson is survived by her husband of thirty two years, Mr. Allan Peterson.

A graduate of Fonthonne College (BA) and the University of South Alabama (MA), Mrs. Peterson touched the lives of many through her years of teaching in Mobile, Alabama; Atlanta, Georgia; St. Louis, Missouri; and Mason City, Iowa before retiring in 2006. She loved to travel, to pursue the arts through painting and creating handmade cards, and to surround herself with friends.

There will be a memorial service on September 1 at Covenant Church on Hitt Road at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Covenant Church school in Mobile, AL.
