Mary Loleta Harmon Rogers, a native of Meridian, MS, longtime resident of Mobile, AL and current resident of Daphne, AL, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Russell Leo Rogers; her parents, Edward Pinckney Harmon and Mary Irene Wilson Harmon; two grandsons, Chris and Chad Rogers; and her daughter-in-law, Martha McKean Rogers. She is survived by her children, Tony Leo (Pam) Rogers of Magnolia Springs, AL, Mary Doreen Rogers (Steve) Hawkins of Mobile, AL and Dennis Wayne Rogers of Montgomery, AL; her sister, Robbie Thead of Meridian, MS; five grandchildren, Tony L. (Crystal) Rogers, Jr., Scott (Denise) Rogers, Jessica (Robert, IV) McManus, Kenneth Rogers and Renee Rogers; four great-grandchildren, Brietyn Rogers, Robert McManus, V, Trace Rogers and William McManus; other relatives and friends. The family expresses sincere appreciation to the staff of Baldwin House Assisted Living for their devoted care and support extended to Mrs. Rogers and her family. Funeral services officiated by Bruce Stewart, were held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Interment was in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Mrs. Rogers' name be made to Life Enrichment Program at Baldwin House Assisted Living, 10171 Papageorge Street, Daphne, AL 36526 or the National Autism Association.
