Michael Jones

Michael Bruce Jones, born September 19, 1970 in Mobile, AL., passed away unexpectedly on June 16 at the age of 51. He is survived by his loving Mother and father Claudine and Jack Jones, his sister and her spouse Natasha (Thomas) McPhillips, nephew Nicholas McPhillips, niece Madison McPhillips, his fiancé and life partner Cynthia Bacon, her son and spouse Nicholas (Aiko)Bacon, and their children Noel and June Bacon. Also, many aunts, cousins, and extended family.

Michael attended St. Pius catholic school and graduated from Murphy High school. He had an associate degree in Autocad and took pride in his career.
Michael was a good man who loved his family. He never knew a stranger and would always make you feel welcomed. Anyone that truly knew him, knew he had such a big heart. He'd give you anything even if it wasn't his to give. Selflessness and generosity were two traits that highlighted his personality. He touched the lives of so many people in such a short amount of time.
Michael embraced all his hobbies with joy and passion and was extremely talented with photography and wood turning. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, flying drones, metal detecting, off-roading, and playing music on the keyboard and drums. Some of his proudest moments was when he was taking photos of his nephew Nicholas playing football for Mobile Christian school, and watching his niece Madison perform with Mobile Singing Children.
We are proud to have been able to call Michael our son, brother, spouse, father, and grandfather. Michael will always be loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, AL 36619 on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with service beginning at 12:00pm. All are invited to join in this celebration of Michael's life.
