Michael Love

LOVE
Michael William Love, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully at his home in Mobile on March 16, 2017, after an extended illness. He was 48 years young.
Michael was born in Chicago, IL but grew up here in Mobile, AL.
Michael worked for 20+ years for Gulf Coast Landscaping as a small engine mechanic. It was a job he enjoyed very much. Because of his illness he had to leave but he greatly missed the job and his co-workers and often talked about them. Michael also loved Mardi Gras and everything about that time of year. He looked forward to riding the float and throwing beads as part of the Mystic Cain Raisers. Michael is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Waunetta Love and by his brother John Love. He is survived by his sister Karen Creel (Keith), brother, Patrick Love, sister, Christine Tulo, sister, Susan Love, brother, Walter Love III, brother, Robert Love and sister, Carol Love. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. We know that he is surrounded by family and is not in pain and is finally at peace.
Michael was loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 6pm in the chapel at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4pm until the service at 6pm, also in the chapel.
