Michael Stephen Mann, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at the age of 72. He received his BS degree from the University of South Alabama and his Masters from Troy State University. He worked as a family counselor for many years; was a US Air Force Veteran and was very proud of his Southern Heritage. Mike cherished his family and enjoyed a cold beer with friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaston Phillip Mann and Vivian Louise Higdon Weaver. His survivors include his daughter, Kelley Mann Stuardi; his son, Daniel Lee (Dorothy) Mann; one sister, Susan Mann Gianelloni; two nephews, John Allen Pybass and Phillip A. (Donna) Pybass; five grandchildren, Andrew, Eric Hayden and Alexandra Rosendale and Darcy and Braden Mann; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
