Michael Colbert Norwood Sr, born on February 8, 1957, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020, at a local hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Salas Norwood; two children, Michael Colbert Norwood Jr. with wife Rebekah Norwood, and BriAhna Norwood Snell with husband, Terrell Snell; and grandchildren, Caden Norwood, Braelyn Norwood, Wyatt Norwood, John Norwood, Harper Norwood, and Aliah Snell.
Michael was a die-hard Alabama Roll Tide fan. He was a boat captain for Rodi Marine and had been a boat captain for over 30 years.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In order to comply with CDC guidelines, along with state and city declarations, issued by the governor and the mayor, we ask that you remain by your vehicle at the cemetery in order to comply with the gathering limits. The family, funeral home. and cemetery appreciate your cooperation on this matter.
