Michael Salva, Sr.

Michael Wayne Salva Sr. age 70 departed this life to enter his heavenly home on August 4th, 2023 at his daughter's home surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in his death by his wife Rebecca, his parents, Alexander and Ada Salva, three brothers, Alexander Salva Jr., Joseph Salva and Ronnie Salva, four sisters, Ruby Sims, Gloria Jernigan, Betty Bradley and Mary LeBlanc.

He is survived by his daughter, Trudy (Roy) Weaver, son, Michael (Sherri) Salva, Grandchildren, Breana (Wade) Price, Koby Sinclair, Brody Sinclair

and Brianna Salva. One Sister Anita (Billy) Cowart, two brothers Don (Ruby) and Bobby (Debbie) Salva, and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved deeply.

Mike loved his wife, children and grandchildren more than life itself. He was known as "pops" to all that knew him. He enjoyed coaching softball to his granddaughter when she was younger, building things and of course his daily visits to the Waffle House. He could fix nearly anything and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Mike is now reunited with his life long love, but will be missed by all.
