Mildred Z. Crenshaw, age 86. Gone but not forgotten. A resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away peacefully on Saturday. Ms. Crenshaw is survived by her daughter, Charlene Bishop (Danny), grandsons, Cameron J. Bishop and Daniel W. Gerhart; two sisters, Mamie Thompson and Hazel Bass, nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her mother, Gladys R. Calvert Zellers and father, William Thomas Zellers; her husband, Dallis W. Crenshaw; two daughters, Jacqueline E. Clark and Deborah A. Gerhart and son, William (Billy) Snyder. Ms. Crenshaw worked for the State of Alabama (Albert P. Brewer Center) for 19 years, before retiring in 1992. After retiring, she enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles, singing karaoke, watching Alabama Football, spending time with friends, feeding/watching her wild birds and hummingbirds, as well as the ducks at Dog River. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her family that she adored. The family is requesting a private memorial service only at Mobile Memorial Gardens. The family also request for all donations to be sent to Southern Cancer Center, 3 Mobile Infirmary Cir., Suite 302, Mobile, AL, 36607 and/or MSPCA, 620 Zeigler Cir., Mobile, AL, 36608.
