Mildred Duralde

Mildred I. Duralde, age 95, a resident of Mobile, Alabama since 1946, passed away peacefully in the early morning of March 9, 2021.
She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Duralde, Sr.; her parents, George Washington Mann and Perla Jane Mann and 7 siblings. She is survived by her sons; Roy Don (Diane) Kennedy, Joseph M. (Stephanie) Duralde, Jr.; three grandchildren, Andrew Don (Maria) Kennedy, Jonathan Martin (Brittani) Duralde and Jennifer Duralde Aycock; four great­grandchildren; Caleb Andrew Kennedy, Abigail Olivia Kennedy, Brooklynn Marie Aycock and Wyatt Duralde; two siblings, Elizabeth Mann Allred and Peggy Mann (Shelly) Brown and many other family members.
Mildred earned her R.N. Degree from Bishop State Jr. College in 1979 and spent most of her nursing career at Mobile Infirmary Rehabilitation Center and later in the home health industry. After retirement, she volunteered at Providence Hospital for 14 years and at Bellingrath Gardens. Mildred was a former member of Oakdale Baptist Church and Cottage Hill Baptist Church for over 48 years and at her passing was a member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church.
Mildred and Joe enjoyed traveling and made many trips in their motor home and enjoyed cruises with traveling friends. She was active in church and formed many friendships through her Sunday School and church activities.
The family wishes to express grateful thanks to her loving caregivers Carolyn Campbell, Jasmine Jones, substitute, Bridgette Cannon and Stella Kennedy who attended Mildred and Joe for five years.
Visitation will be at 1 :00pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens, followed by a 2:00pm graveside service officiated by Dr. Rob Jackson on Friday, March 12, 2021. QOVID protocols will be practiced.
