Mildred Louise Paris died peacefully in her home on July 24, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born June 10, 1930 in Nokomis, Alabama to Kathleen and Shirley Edward Hollingsworth.
She is survived by her brothers Tommy, James, and Doyle Hollingsworth. Five children Philip, Ken, Steve, and Joy Fairbanks, and Jeff Paris. Multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband L.D. Paris, son Michael Fairbanks, brothers Douglas, Raymond, and Shirley "Junior" Hollingsworth, sisters Janette Stewart, Margie Watson, Marie Shalenberger, and Mary Hardy.
She was a long time business owner who owned and operated multiple businesses including Fulton Grocery and Mike's Quick Stop.
She was a long time resident of Mobile, Alabama and enjoyed gardening, cooking, watching sports and keeping up on current events.
Services will take place at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home located at 6040 Three Notch Road on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Visiting hours will take place from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow. The burial will be at Mobile Memorial Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
