Mildred Jensen Winger, a native of Evergreen, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Jensen, and her daughter, Rebecca Jensen Hoffman. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Harold S. Winger; son, William O. (Judy) Jensen; son-in-law, Mike Hoffman; grandchildren, William O. (Laura) Jensen, Jr., B. Scott (Taylor) Jensen, Jason M. (Lorry) Jensen, Michael (Emily) Hoffman, Tim (Mary Louise) Hoffman; eleven great-grandchildren; step-son, Lewis (Wendy) Winger; step-daughter, Adrian Mueller; step-grandchildren, Heather (Steve) Nesbitt; Tyler (Kendal) Winger, Jennifer Hendrix, Hannah (Randy) Klingelheber, Paul (Ashley) Hendrix; seven step-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Mildred was a longtime member of Springhill Avenue Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 10:30 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
