Milton Douglas Green, a native of Birmingham, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Houston, TX at the age of 96. He was an equal partner of Green Builders; built custom homes in the Mobile, AL area since 1948; was Past President of National Homebuilders' Association of Mobile; was a charter member of Kingswood United Methodist Church and loved to play golf during his leisure time. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Riley Green and Flonie Belle Bishop Green; his wife of 74 years, Jean Jernigan Green; and his brother, Josh Green. His survivors include two sons, J. Byron (Therese) Green and Ralph M. (Nancy) Green; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
