Milton V. Lovett, "Steve", 81 and a resident of Mobile, AL, passed away with his loving family by his side on Saturday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walt (Margaret) Lovett. Milton was born in Haleyville, AL and graduated from Cordora High School. He served 26 years in USCG and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer. He also, worked for the American Bureau of Shipping and retired after 15 years. He was a member of the Masons for 52 years and was Past Master of the George U. Potter Lodge # 912 F&AM in Theodore. He was also a member of The British Car Club. Milton married the love of his life Geneva of 56 years. They were married on Sept. 10, 1960. He is survived by his wife, Geneva and their two sons, Steven (Janet) Lovett of Washington County and Ken (Melinda) Lovett of Theodore, AL; his two grandchildren, Keith (Rachel) Lovett and Kristan Lovett; great grandchildren, Aleiah, Kaleb, Adrian and Kyra. Two sisters of North Alabama. His passions was wood working and restoring Antique Cars. Visitation Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday March 30, 2017 from Noon until 2 pm. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
