Noreen Howell

Noreen Kay Wiggins Howell (RN) July 1, 1954- March 17, 2018, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on March 17, 2018. Noreen was born in Springfield, OH, but had been a resident of the Mobile area for many years. She graduated from Davidson High School in 1972 as well as Southwest State Technical School (LPN) and Bishop State Community College and maintained licensure for over 30 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Elsie Wiggins. She is survived by her husband, E. Gray Howell; her two wonderful sons, John Henry Mahoney and Kenneth Gray Howell; a sister, Betsy Sue Wiggins; sister in law, Valerie Lundy who was instrumental in assuring Noreen was provided the care and dignity she deserved. Anyone who had contact with Noreen loved her. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 7:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with visitation from 5:00 PM until service time. A special thank you from her family to Kindred Hospice Care for the wonderful care and compassion given by all in the short time she was at home.
