Norma Estelle Baker Permenter, a native of Lambert, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL passed away, Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Edward Permenter; her parents, George Baker and Lee Annie Roberts Baker; and all of her siblings. She is survived by her grandchildren, Edward G. Roberson, Billy Richard Roberson, Jr., Timothy Elliott (Kelli) Roberson; Marcus Erick (Veronica) Roberson and Nettie Bosarge; four great-grandchildren, Kassie, Kayla, Reese, Marcus, Jr. and Evin; one great-great-grandchild, Carter; special friends, Beverly Reusser and Annie Free; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 at 12 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
