Novel Powell

Mrs. Novel Lavene Powell, a native of Lawrence County, Alabama and longtime resident of Mobile, AL died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the age of 89. She is preceded in death by her husband, Greer Butler Powell, her parents and her siblings. She is survived by her son, Roger Jerry Powell, and his wife, Sharon, of Mobile, AL four grandchildrenl other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 2 P.M. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until 2 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
