OLIVE AUZINE FISHER

Olive Auzine Fisher, age 100, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Mobile Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include her nieces, Carolyn Collins, Sue Fisher King (Talmadge), Jean Willoughby (Mike), Betty Jones (Larry), Frances Shaw (Jimmy), and Betty Yeargain (Virgil); nephews, Larry Fisher (Terry), Joe Buffington (Sherrie), Wayne Buffington, Oscar Teasley (Lisa), and the late Ricky Buffington's wife, Dana; great nephew, Jimmy Collins; and great niece, Jeana Collins Parks (Tom) and her sons, Brian and Scott Parks.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Elzie Fisher and Olive Lucille Horton Fisher; brothers, M. Woodrow Fisher (Edna), Alton H. Fisher, E.J. Fisher; Rodney Fisher, and R.V. Fisher; sisters, Florence Mae Fisher Measells and Iris Fisher; half-brother, Clayton Fisher; and half-sister, Hortense Fisher Walker.
Auzine loved singing and she sang for years in the choir at the Presbyterian churches she attended in Jackson, Mississippi and Mobile, Alabama. She was the last survivor of the Fisher family of her generation and spent most of her life living with her brother, Woodrow Fisher and his wife Edna, her sister, Florence Measells, and her niece, Carolyn Collins. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
A graveside service was held Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile, Alabama
