Pamela Mills

Pamela Napier Mills, age 73, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 in Northport, AL where she lived. Pam was born in Laurel, MS on August 30, 1944. She graduated from Murphy High School and Providence School of Nursing in Mobile, AL. She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Providence Hospital, then moved to Jackson, MS where she worked at St. Dominic's Hospital and Woman's Hospital. While living in Jackson, she met many lifelong friends that she loved and cherished. Pam's caring spirit touched the hearts of many lives and she will always be remembered by her contagious laugh. She most enjoyed being with her three granddaughters, as they were the love of her life. She was a loving and devoted Nana, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Shelton Napier and Maxine Wright Napier of Orange Beach, AL. She is survived by her brother, Damon Napier of Orange Beach, AL; sisters, Sandy Sawyer of Mobile, AL and Jennifer Jo Smith (Bob) of Foley, AL; daughters, Deana Pingrey (Peter) of Vaughan, MS and Danna Mills (Marc) of Northport, AL; granddaughters Ally Rae Pingrey, Sarah Morgan Mills and Sydney Mills.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Mobile, AL. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time.
