Pat C. Bloodsworth, 76, a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed on to be with the Lord on Sunday, due to an unexpected illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, John Davis Bloodsworth; two children, Ashley Ruth (Ric) Sweitzer and John Gregory (Amy) Bloodsworth; her sister, Barbara C. McCullough; two grandchildren, Ian and Lilla; other relatives and friends. Pat was a graduate of Murphy High School and a member of Springhill Baptist Church. She worked as an administrative secretary for the Army Corps of Engineers for many years until finally retiring. She was a kind and gracious lady who will be greatly missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
