Patsy Jordan Butcher, a native of Columbia, MS. and a longtime resident of Mobile departed herearthly life on December 1, 2017. She retired from Gayfer's Department Store after 20 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Tillman's Corner. Her most cherished accomplishment was her family. There was nothing more important to her than her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mollie Jordan, one brother, Raymond Lee Jordan, and her husband of 65 years, James Clyde Butcher. She is survived by her three daughters, Brenda Butcher Carlisle-Johnson (Richard) of Mobile, AL., Tonya Butcher Dezso (Steve) of Austin, TX, and Denise Butcher Jordan (Scott) of Semmes, AL. She also leaves five grandchildren to cherish her memories: Kara Melissa Carlisle-Kellner (Scott) of Birmingham, AL., Amanda Carlisle Davis (Kyle) of Birmingham, AL, Harrison Jordan of Semmes, AL, Nicholas Dezso and Natalie Dezso of Austin, TX. Her legacy will live on through her three great-grandchildren: Noah Scott Kellner (6) of Birmingham, AL, Stevie Paige Davis (3) of Birmingham, AL, and Savannah Presley Davis (15 months) of Birmingham, AL. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Martha Ann Tomaszewski of Clinton, MS. She had a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives who loved Aunt Pat. She will always be remembered as a woman who loved The Lord and loved her family. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 9:00-10:00 AM. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel at 10:00 AM.
