Patsy Wickline

Patsy Ruth Moore Wickline
Born on January 11th, 1933 passed away peacefully on April 11th, 2022 in Fairhope, Alabama. She had been a resident of Fairhope since 2007 and previously live on St. Simon Island, Georgia. Patsy was a graduate of Murphy High School in 1951 and was President of SOS (Society of Sweethearts). Since 2007, Frank and Patsy were members of the First Baptist Church of Fairhope. They loved their adult Sunday School class who became their Fairhope family.

Patsy leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband of 70 years, Frank C. Wickline, and her three (3) Sons and their wives, Frank Chris Wickline (Caroline), Jeffery Lanier Wickline (Paula), and Mark James Wickline (Dawn).

Patsy and Frank have six (6) grandchildren, Heather Noel Vermeer, Lauren Melissa West, Jordan Taylor Wickline, Jessica Shareese Wickline, Madison Marie Wickline, Katie Marie Wickline, and Mark James Wickline Jr. They also have three (3) great grandchildren, Sawyer Vermeer, Saylor Vermeer, and Scarlett Wilson.

Patsy is preceded in death by her parents James H. Moore and Pearla Byrd Moore. She is also preceded in death by her brothers William W. Moore and Jamison R. Moore and her sisters Mignonne D. Smith and Edith M. Zuiderhoek.

Patsy was a blessing to her family. She really knew what it was to love and support her family completely. She was a Godly woman; full of life, love and grace and had the will and tenacity to live and protect her family like no other. Her laughter was infectious and full of joy. She always met you with a loving smile or kind word.

Special thanks to Stephanie Witt, Patsy's caregiver for the past year. Her dedication, loyalty, and care were a blessing to the Wickline Family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Pm from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 1pm until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
