Paul Connolly

June 22, 1953 - March 3, 2025

Paul Michael Connolly passed away Monday, March, 3rd. A native of Mobile, AL, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. As a City of Mobile firefighter, he dedicated many years of his life to the service of others. Paul loved Auburn football, photography, and eating just about any dessert available. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. And Mrs. John R Connolly, and four siblings: George R Connolly Sr., David F Connolly Sr., Alfred J Connolly, and Ann E Connolly. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Gene Honeycutt Connolly; daughters Erin Connolly and Casie Connolly LaPlante (John); and grandson Ambrose LaPlante. He is also survived by five siblings: John R Connolly (Rosemary), James W Connolly (Curt), Mary C Weinacker (Rick), Thomas P Connolly (Teresa), and Joan Connolly (Sue Stephens); sisters-in-law Juliet Connolly and Bridgette Connolly; and many nephews and nieces. Graveside service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on March 14, 2025, at 12:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Coastal Alabama Down Syndrome Society, P. O.
