Paul Owen Parker, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died on Friday. Mr. Parker was the oldest member of Hollinger's Island Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret Davis Parker; his wives, Miriam Parker and Eugenia Parker and one brother, Robert E. Parker. Mr. Parker is survived by six children, Trudy (William) Stuart, Murray Parker, Shirley (Wayne) Kerr, Gerald (Debbie) Butler, Sparky (Sheila) Butler and Cathe (Bobby) McLendon; one sister-in-law, Betty Parker and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 2 pm. Visitation will start at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
