Peggy McCluer Davis, 83, of Mobile, AL went to be with her Lord on August 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Cleveland, their infant son, her parents, Clarence and Nell McCluer and brother, Edwin McCluer. Her survivors include one son, Terry (Teresa) Davis; two daughters, Beth (David) Edwards, and Lisa (Terry) Daugherty; a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. She was a longtime member of River of Life Church where she served as the church pianist for many years. She was also a devoted nurse and loved helping others. The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff of Springhill Home Health and Hospice and many devoted sitters for their loving care and family support. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
