Peter Alexander MacDonald, a native of Flushing, NY and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away Friday, May 22, 2015. "Rabbit" was an avid golfer, member of Azalea City Men's Golf Club, an US Army Veteran and a retired sales representative for Durr Drug Company. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Charlotte Guilford MacDonald; daughters, Charlene (Ed) MacDonald-Noble, Marilynn (Ron) Hodges, all of Mobile, AL; sons, Nick (Genia) MacDonald of Mobile, AL and Alex (Teresa) MacDonald of Gulf Shores, AL; five grandchildren, Kelly Hodges ("Bo") Woody, Andrew Hodges, Allan MacDonald, Anna MacDonald and Gage Nobles; one great-grandson, Xander Woody; one sister, Shirley MacDonald of New York, NY; many beloved nephews; a niece; other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Spring Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to your favorite charity in Mr. MacDonald's name.
