Rachel Beatrice Newman Price, a native of Mississippi and longtime resident of Eight Mile, AL died Sunday, January 11, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Price, 14 of her siblings, and her parents, Charles Hooker Newman and Laura Bell Newman Sanders. She is survived by her children, Ann Fox, Debra (John) Loden and Douglas Price; her brothers, Grady (Rachel) Newman and Wilmer Newman; 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 AM from the Chapel of the funeral home.
