Ralph Lloyd Giles, Jr., age 66, a native of Laurel, MS and current resident of Mobile, AL, died as a result of an industrial accident Friday, December 18, 2015. Lloyd was the owner and operator of Soot-Away Chimney Sweep for 22 years in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. He served his country in the US Army for four years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Lloyd Giles, Sr. and Maurice Collins Giles and two sisters, Judy and Dale Giles. His survivors include his wife of 36 years, Sharon Giles; a son, Nathan Giles; a daughter, Melissa Seal; a brother, Rory Hitchcock; step-son, Johnny Major; nephew, Phillip Husband; three furry babies; other relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating Lloyd's life was held Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Cypress Shores Baptist Church, 4327 Higgins Road, Mobile, AL.
