Randy Gossett

Randy Earl Gossett of Mobile, AL left this world for his Heavenly home surrounded by his close family and beloved friends on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the age of 65.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years, Elizabeth "Beth" Blount Gossett; his two daughters, Staci Gossett (Timothy Scott) Masaitis and Brandy Gossett Hoven; his grandson, Trenton Scott Masaitis; three granddaughters, Madison Hoven (Chris) Barnett, Malori Elizabeth Masaitis and Lauren Elizabeth Hoven; his sister, Patricia Weatherby; and three brothers, Joseph (Patty) Gossett, Richard Gossett and David Gossett; other relatives and friends. This loving, gracious, dependable, humble and honorable man will be forever missed.
He was a loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather, caring son, brother, nephew, uncle and cousin, as well as a loyal friend to those he had made throughout his life, including his golfing, fishing and hunting buddies. This wonderful man will be missed in this world, but God has received a humble servant.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Holbrook Gossett and Maudine Early Gossett; his mother-in-law, and father-in-law, Ola Mae and Robert Blount and his brother, Donald Gossett.
Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Jack Smith, will be held Monday, December 17, 2018 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Carlton, David Dearing, Jeff Gossett, Brad Kurth, Trenton Masaitis and Donald "Duck" Moore.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to New Life Traditional Baptist Church, 5010 McCrary Road, Semmes, AL 36575.
