Ray Ott, a native and lifelong resident of Theodore, AL, passed away at his home on January 12, 2018, surrounded by his family.
He was a talented woodworker and master gardener. He also enjoyed spending time on his shrimp boat with his brother, Herman as well other family members.
He was member of The Baptist Chapel in Grand Bay where he served as a deacon.
Prior to retiring he worked throughout southern Alabama as an Insulator, with the Asbestos Union Local 55.
He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was married to the love of his life, Eunice Ott, for 67 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Isabell Ott Siblings; Juanita Robertson, Aurelle Ziegler, Cecil, Herman, Leroy, Oscar Ott and daughter-in-law, Pat Ott.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice Nelson Ott. 3 Children; Joe Ott, Mike (Arleen) Ott and Evelyn (David) Blackman
2 Grandchildren; Robbie (Seaaira) Ott and Tyler Ott
A host of family and close friends.
Services will be Tuesday, January 15, 2018, 10:00 am, from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 9:00 until service time.
