Reese Armour

Reese Freeman Armour, age 83, of Mobile, passed away at Saad Inpatient Hospice on February 2, 2023. He was born November 6, 1939, in Mobile, Al to the late Samuel David Armour and Myrtle Williams Armour. Reese graduated from Theodore High School. After High School, he joined the Air Force & Reserves, where he served for 12 years. He was employed with Stevedoring Business for 40 years as a Maritime Shipping Agent. Reese loved his friends and family, and he never met a stranger! He had a special love for conversating and making sure that everyone he loved knew!

He is preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Armour; his son, Thad Armour; by his parents, Samuel Armour, and Myrtle Williams Armour; His sisters Clara Mae Wood, Doris Kempner, and Millie Fidler; and his brother, Samuel David Armour II.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, daughter Cindy (Terry) Cox; and son, Josh (Amber) Armour; his grandchildren, Matthew Cox, Tanner Cox, Emily Armour, and Allison Armour. His sister, Susan (Tom) Williams of Huntsville, AL., and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Services will be held Monday, February 6, 2023, at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm prior to the service. Burial in the Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery following the service.

Pallbearers for Mr. Armour will be Phillip Peterson, Sam Armour, Lance Anthony, Dalton Anthony, Landon Taylor, and Steve Wood.
