Remedios Villanueva Amigable “Nanay”

Remedios Villanueva Amigable “Nanay”, aged 88, born November 14, 1932 in Rosalas, Pangasinan Philippines, and a longtime resident of Theodore, AL, was called home on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 to be reunited with her husband - Resurreccion Amigable, son - Augusto Aimgable, and our dear Lord. She came to the United States in 1989 and became an American citizen in 1993.

Nanay is survived by her son - Decinio Amigable, daughter - Yolanda Amigable Gordon, son - Mario Amigable, son - Marcial Amigable, daughter - Agnes Amigable, daughter - Marreva Amigable, daughter - Janet Amigable; grandchildren - Vincent Raymund, Mona Liza, Via Marie, Jonathan, Darwin, Rachel Ann, Dennis, Beatrice, Daniel, Jonathan Miles, Jamie Marie, Maria Kasester, Anne Michelle, Mark Brian, JV Arthur; and great-grandchildren Grachelle Joyce, Gailah Johanna, Tyler Viet Anh, Juliana Remy, Breeana Margareth, Jan Roevin, Erica Louisse, Sofia Nicole, and Kyle Kerwin.

Nanay was the sweetest, most loving and caring family member and friend. She was always there for anyone and she knew just how to make things right. She will be missed not only by the ones listed above but by many others that she touched in life. She was truly the person that would brighten any room with her smile. The way she loved and cared for her children and grandchildren was unprecedented. In her life, she came to love and adore many, teaching those around her to love just as unconditionally as she had.

Nanay was a devoted Catholic that loved Christ and the church, attending Mass every possible chance given her age and medical condition.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 02, 2021 5:30 to 6:30 PM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, February 03, 2021 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Condolences may be made at www.mobilefuneralservice.com.
