Rhonda Jean Daniel, 56, passed away at her home in Mobile, AL Wednesday, October 4, 2017 surrounded by her family and friends. Rhonda was born in Atmore, AL on June 15, 1961 to John and Bobbie Daniel. Rhonda, our angel on earth, was born with cerebral palsy. Her mother was her caregiver for most of her life. Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Daniel, maternal and paternal grandparents, and other family members. Her survivors include her father, John H. Daniel, who stayed by her side until the end; her sister, Kim Daniel; brother, John Daniel; and Lena Hunter, a special friend of the family and Rhonda's caregiver for the last 6 l/2 years. A funeral service, officiated by Rev. Jeff Spiller, will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Friday, October 6, 2017 at 12:00 Noon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
