Ribble Bankhead

Ribble Ernest Bankhead Sept 7, 1929 - Jan 12, 2017 A native of Borger, TX and resident of Theodore, AL died on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the age of 87. Mr. Bankhead was an ordained Deacon and member at Theodore First Baptist Church. He was retired from International Paper Company after 35 years as Architectural Engineer. He loved to play golf and was an animal lover especially shelter dogs. He also received the Silver Beaver Award which is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bettie Bankhead; son, Ernie (Melanie) Bankhead; grandchild, Linzie (Adam) Atkinson; great grandchild, Kaylee Atkinson. Visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM followed by Funeral Services in the Chapel.
