Richard Tawn Terry, Sr., a longtime resident of Chickasaw, AL, died Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the age of 65. He was a retired insurance agent. He was preceded in death by his father, Houston Thomas Terry, Jr. and his brother, Thomas Edwin Terry. His survivors include his wife of 45 years, Connie Catrett Terry; two children, Richard "Rick" Tawn Terry, Jr. and Natalie Nicole Terry (Joseph) Crawford; his sister, Lynn Louise (Michael) Frederick; his mother, Hazel Louise Sellers Sims; four grandsons, Owen Nicholas Crawford, Ethan Bradley Crawford, Austin Blake Crawford and Colton Joseph Crawford; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Monday, August 15, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Jimmy Roberts, will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 12:00 Noon from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
