Richard Wesley Williams, born June 5, 1961 and passed away September 9, 2021 at a local hospital. Richard was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He loved his family and wanted only the best for them. His wife and his girls were his life and he would do anything for them and he loved them with his whole heart. He was a salesman for 30 years and owned his own company, Southern Supplies, for 16 years. He had many friends that he loved like they were family. He loved to hunt and fish and he loved Alabama football. He entertained his family and friends with funny stories that revolved around his hunting and fishing adventures.
Richard is survived by his wife of 32 years, Malysa Shirley Williams; his girls, Kayla (Zack) McKee, Kasie (Chris) Warren, Kourtney Williams and Kara Williams and five grandchildren that he adored; Wyatt (5), Cohen (5), Caden (2), Mary Addis (9 months) and Wesley (due in January 2022). He is also survived by his two brothers; James Williams and David Williams (Darlene) and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Williams and his mother, Mary Williams Burge. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Rev H.R Burge who he loved dearly.
Richard left this life in exchange for his perfect body and entered heaven to sing with the angels and walk the streets of gold. Richard loved God and never hesitated to share his testimony of all the things the Lord had done for him. He always shared the plan of salvation so everyone he knew could one day live in heaven with him.
Services will be held September 14, 2021 at Mobile Memorial Gardens at 2:00. The family has chosen to have a private graveside service for family and close friends due to Covid.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his name to Snow Road Missionary Baptist. This was his church and he loved his church family.
