Richard Madison Williams, a native of Murray, KY and resident of Saraland, AL for almost 46 years, died Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the age of 83. His survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Ann; stepmother, Maggie P. Williams; sister, Georgiann Smith; daughter, Linda Williams; sons, Aaron Williams and his wife, Gail and Derek Williams and his wife, Kay; grandchildren, Roslynn (Marvin) Cable, Joshua Green, Jason (Leanna) Towery; Audrey (Matthew) Miller, Gage (Hannah) Williams, Rachael (Joseph) Raley, Hannah (Brandon) Bowers, Paige Williams and Brian Williams; his many great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. He enjoyed going to Bayou Sara Baptist Church on Sundays with his wife, Ann; deep sea fishing for the big fish like King Mackerel; collecting coins, guns and old civil war artifacts; loved airplanes and flying; collecting and restoring old cars; watching western and war movies; bowling with his wife, Ann; gardening and being outside. He was very proud of being a veteran and served our country as a pilot in the US Air Force. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
