Richard "Ricky" Michael Collier, Sr.
1953-2021

Born July 3, 1953 passed away at the age of 67 on May, 18, 2021 in a local hospital. Ricky leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Janice Marie Collier; daughter, Andrea (Juan) Cordova; sons, Ricky (Jodie) Collier, Jr and Mark Anthony Collier; grandchildren, Christina, Sean, Emilee, Chase, Shelby, Brianna, Robert, Katie, Taylor and Mark Alex; sisters, Anita (Mitchie) Wescovich and Donna (Glen) Bradley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Bernice Collier; brothers, Frank and Andy Collier; sisters, Maria Cain and Cathy Newman; granddaughters, Brittany and Victoria Collier. Ricky loved to fish and shrimp. He shrimped on the Mama Belle, Master Wayne and other trawlers. After retiring from shrimping he opened P.J.'s Seafood located on Rock Road in Coden, AL. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, May 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Masonic Lodge Bayou La Batre, AL with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Oddfellows Cemetery.
