Rita Huckabee

Rita Ann Melton Huckabee, loving mother and grandmother, born December 21, 1946 in Virginia and a longtime resident of Irvington, AL died on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the age of 70. Mrs. Huckabee was an animal lover and loved to work in the yard and do gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Huckabee, as well as her parents, Mary and William Melton. She is survived by her children, Renea (Rusty) Conn, Billy (Sherry) Huckabee and Richard (Kristina) Huckabee; brother, Buck (Barbara) Melton; five grandchildren, Chris (Diama) Conn, Matt (Karli) Conn, Will (Ashleigh) Huckabee, Sam Huckabee and Walker Huckabee; three great grandchildren, Huntleigh and Leighton Huckabee, Colleen Conn. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 12:00 PM with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time.
