Born on December 6th, 1942, in Mobile, Alabama., passed away on Friday, February 11th, 2022, in Mobile, Alabama. Known by his family and friends growing up as "Junior," He worked in various body shops and Car dealerships in the Mobile area, which include Pat Peck Nissan, Springhill Toyota, and Rettig's Auto Body. Bob was still employed by Springhill Toyota at the time of his passing.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Diann Allen, his children, Donnie (Teresa Perez) Allen and Mike (Ashley Adams) Allen; loving grandsons Hunter (Holly Kimble) Allen and Nick Allen; siblings, Elizabeth Ann Roberts, Willie Jean Dearmon, Brenda (Jerry) Freeman, Michael Glenn Allen, Judy (Tim) Padgett. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Lee Allen, Sr., and his mother Lucille Whigham Allen, his brother Norman Wayne Allen, and his precious son Terry Glenn Allen.
Bob was a 45-year member of a Mystic Society, serving as their King in 2016, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Bob loved cars all his life, always fixing and selling, his last prized possession was his 1969 Convertible Camaro Z28 which still sits in his garage.
A chapel service for Bob will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, 02/18/2022 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Friday 02/18/2022.
