Wallace, Robert Allen born on 7-16-46
Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on 9-11-18. He loved family and country enough to put his life on the line to ensure both were equally protected when he was called to serve by devoting 20 years to theMilitary. He is survived in death by his loving wife Babs and his 4 children; Dawn, Chad, Buksa (Mitch) and Gator (Allison) and by 11 precious grandchildren and 2 ½ great grand children, 2 dogs, 2 cats and his adored rugs. He was so large in life it took a mighty big casket. He had great love for his entire family and had enough love to share to include those that may not have been blood related but he wanted them to be included as our part of our family.
Visitation will be on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral will be on Monday at 12 noon at the funeral home. Followed by graveside services at 2:30 pm at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
A few final words to say to our Dad who taught us through life the greatest respect and love through adversity and complexity of family
We share this poem with all that has held true throughout our own lives
Happy Father's Day 1988
This year Dad we thought we'd
write a verse
It's not too bad it could
Be worse
My Dad he's great, he's really
Rad!
He is the best Dad I ever
Had!
Claims his oldest son Chad
Chad's correct and totally precise!
When it comes to Dad
He has no vice
So you can see there is no
Comparison
Says his youngest one Allison
He's the best and there is
No hitch,
For he's our Dad! Claims
Proudly Mitch
There is no other man, I'll
Ever love as well!
States our oldest Dawn Mischelle
So these 4 kids that seldom
Agree, Say Bob is the best Dad
There will ever be
As we all know you are the
Love of my life
From all your kids and
Your loving wife.
