Robert Wasserleben

Robert Frank Wasserleben, son of the late Edward Wasserleben, Sr. and Mary Catherine Wasserleben was born on February 26, 1958 in Mobile, AL and went to be with the Lord on Jan 19 2024 in Baytown, TX at the age of 65.

Robert lived his entire life as a resident of lower Alabama. He was an over the road truck driver whose job kept him away from his family for extended periods of time for which he was missed dearly while away. Robert enjoyed watching football every chance he had, as well as cruising on ships, camping, fishing, and grilling. Robert was a gentle giant who loved his family and loved being a grandpa. Robert married Gina Parrillo on October 22, 2004.

Robert is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Hernandez.

He is survived by his wife, Gina Parrillo; children, Cathy (Andy) Cook, Brittany (Jamie) Wasserleben, Shelby Parrillo; grandchildren, Layla, Lilly, Caleigh, Norah, Amelia, John, Rebekah, Korbin, Kayleigh; brother, Edward Wasserleben, Jr.; sisters, Carol (Willis) Cannon, Elizabeth (Anthony) Torricelli; brother-in-law, Robert Hernandez; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Robert enjoyed life and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Robert's family will celebrate his life with a funeral service on Saturday February 3, 2024 at 10:00 am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. His family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning one hour prior.
