Roberta Newhouse Chandler, “Mrs. Bobby, 92, died Saturday, June 27, 2019 at her Mobile, AL home, with her family by her side.

Roberta was born on March 17, 1927 in Petersburg, IN to Ellis and Lorene Delaney.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for over 27 years. Roberta is known for being a loving and caring mother who devoted her life to her family and friends, as well as cause for American Veterans.

Roberta is survived by her brother, Wesley Delaney, Judith, Her daughter Alberta Dees, her four grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and many many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00am – Noon, 2019 at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Immediately following will be Chapel and funeral services. Celebration of life will be held later that day at the American Legion Post #76 at 1918 Duval Street.
