Roberta Elaine Meraz, a native of Denver, CO and current resident of Mobile, AL, died Tuesday, January 2, 2017 at the age of 80. Roberta's passion was genealogy. She also enjoyed playing cards and dominoes and participating in activities with her friends at the Connie Hudson Mobile Regional Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Benjamin Merrill and Verna Maude Bell Merrill. Her survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles Meraz, Sr.; her son, Charles (Susan) Meraz, Jr.; three daughters, Donna Marie Inman, Catherine Meraz, and Linda Ann (Alan) Foote; her brother, William "Bill" (Judy) Merrill; eight grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life and reception will be held at the Connie Hudson Mobile Regional Senior Center, 3201 Hillcrest Road, Mobile, AL on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
