Roberta Brantley Myers
May 4, 1916-Dec. 30, 3016
After over 100 years of beautiful life Roberta Myers went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Friday, December 30, 2016. Mrs. Myers was born on May 4, 1916 to Lump and Beatrice Brantley in Madden, Mississippi. After moving to Mobile, AL from Shreveport, LA in 1950 Mrs. Myers and her husband, Audie Myers, were in the Mobile home sales business. Mrs. Myers was an artist that enjoyed the beauty of nature with a special love for birds. She was most importantly the family rock and historian and with her over 100 years of knowledge and wisdom she will be missed tremendously. With over 80 years of representing the Christian faith she witnessed to hundreds through word, actions and love shown to others. Mrs. Myers was one the most spiritual people. In the tough times she was always positive and depended on her faith to get her through. During the loss of two daughters Mrs. Myers was the one who worked hard to keep the family sprit upbeat always showing a spiritual side that only she could show. The only thing that could describe this beautiful lady's faith and character would have been being able to see the homecoming when she reached the gates of Heaven Friday night. Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her husband, Audie Myers; father, James Lump Myers; mother, Minnie Beatrice Wiggins; five sisters, Hazel Brantley, Lillie Mae Brantley, Lois Thomas, Christine Adams and Ruth Coker; two brothers, Austin Brantley and Emmitt Brantley and two daughters, Rebecca Myers and Tamera Joy Myers Hearn.
