Robin Sapp

Robin Ann Sapp, age 64, of Mobile passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019, at her home.

From a young age Robin was always a high energy person who loved being outdoors. She loved being on the water. Her love for being on the water is where her soulmate taught her how to ski at the age of 17. Robin went on to cosmetology school, then bought and ran Cypress Shores Beauty Salon for over 20 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, gunny, and great gunny.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonya Cooper; parents, Otis “Steve” Johnson and Inez Woolard Johnson; and brothers, Harry Kern, Donald Prockup, and Stephen Johnson.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Wayne Sapp; children, Melissa J. Thompson (Bryan), Crystal R. Gonzalez, Lesley A. Lovett, Wayne Sapp, Jr. (Stephanie), and Tom Sapp (Melissa); son-in-law, Adam Cooper; grandchildren, Morgan Johnson, Bryce Thompson, Izabella Thompson, Austin Kelly, Caitlyn Gonzalez, Brooklynn Gonzalez, Jayden Flanning, Taylor Sapp, Joey Sapp, Emily Minisall (Raymond), Jordan Sapp (Sarah) and Faith Sapp; great-grandchildren, Ava Kelly, Ansley Kelly, Ashlyn Kelly and James Minisall.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 1, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
