Roger Allen Barganier, Sr.

January 19, 1935 – November 20, 2019

A longtime resident of Mobile and member and deacon of the Government Street Baptist Church (formerly West End Baptist) passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019.

He is survived by his wife Patricia, sons Roger Jr. (Karolyn Dailey), grandchildren Erich and Kirsten, and Joe (Leia). Survivors also include his sister Marie Porter and many nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Class of 1952 of Murphy High School, a U.S. Army veteran and long-time President of McLeod Marine, Inc.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. and the service will be held at noon. Burial in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Government Street Baptist Church at 3401 Government Blvd, Mobile AL 36693.
